Student activist Mehdi Arabshahi has been hospitalized after having a heart failure. In hospital he received a bypass operation as one of his outer arteries were blocked, Before imprisonment he had no known medical record of heart failure.

Mona Mahmudnizhad (September 10, 1965 – June 18, 1983) was an Iranian Bahá’í who, in 1983, together with nine other Bahá’í women, was sentenced to death and hanged in Shiraz, Iran because of her membership in the Bahá’í Faith. Somethig that should interest the International Criminal Court.
Please take a moment to remind President Obama how important it is that we not punish innocent Iranians, including students seeking to study outside of Iran. If Obama is truly looking for change Iranian students should have the opportunity to study abroad, learn about other cultures, equality and democracy so they can spread the word!
The prosecutor office of Babol city has issued a travel ban verdict for Adeleh Ziaei for posting a note titled “I’m Sorry” to her husband’s personal weblog. The verdict has been reportedly issued to increase pressures on her husband Arya Aramnejad, an artist, singer and composer.
